Canna Coconut Oil — Infusion Guide
Coconut oil is one of the most versatile infusion bases — its high saturated fat content absorbs more cannabinoids than butter, and it works in both sweet and savoury cooking.
Ingredients
- 7g dried cannabis (decared)
- 200ml coconut oil (solid, not melted)
Per serve: 120 kcal, 13.6g fat · 1 teaspoon
Instructions
- 01 Decarboxylate cannabis at 110°C (230°F) for 40 minutes on a baking tray. Cool fully.
- 02 Melt coconut oil in a small saucepan on the lowest heat setting.
- 03 Add decarbed cannabis, stir, and maintain a very gentle heat (below 95°C / 200°F) for 45 minutes.
- 04 Strain through a fine mesh sieve lined with cheesecloth into a clean jar.
- 05 Refrigerate until solid. Store in the fridge for up to 8 weeks.
Always start with a low dose and wait at least 60 minutes before taking more. Keep out of reach of children. Effects vary based on individual tolerance and cannabis potency.
